Hamid is a partner and senior chartered Professional Civil/Structural Engineer with Estruk Consultants Limited and is responsible for structural design, structural inspections and assessments with a vast amount of job and project management experience. He has over 19 years of experience working with Local Authorities to provide relevant, specific, and useful information on council assets. Having previously worked on asset management projects for Auckland Transport, Auckland Council, Auckland City Council, Manukau City Council, North Shore City Council and Far North District Council. Through this involvement he has well developed skills in dealings with stakeholders and the general public, having led teams on many projects and delivered very successful results over the years for clients.
Chung has over 25 years of works experience as a structural engineer and has extensive design experience in various structural design works and disciplines, ranging from building and commercial works to infrastructural and civil works. He has extensive experience dealing with site construction problems in addition to office design work and can provide quick technical solution/support when required. With overseas experience working in Malaysia and Singapore Chung has developed vast experience dealing with trouble shooting problems with problem projects, including turnkey projects that require fast turnover in design time couple with efficient and practical design. His technical knowledge with structural analysis using modal response spectrum, finite element analysis, p-delta analysis, and foundation on spring supports, gaps analysis, shear walls modelling, fire design is a strength of his when it comes to informed decision making.
Anthony is a Senior Structural Engineer with 13 years’ experience in all forms of structural design. He has managed multi-discipline teams on building projects and has a reputation for getting results, keeping to tight deadlines and on budget. He has vast experience with work such as building condition surveys, site investigations and structural design projects including numerous buildings, recreation, and walkway structures.
Jian is a structural engineer, graduated from Auckland University. He has been involved in many projects, from structural detail design through to implementation. He also has experience in construction management. Jian currently works as part of his team to ensure that building proposals adhere to their budget and schedule, and are fit-for purpose. His current role is as a structural engineer/ structural inspector, where he makes appropriate recommendations from structural assessments and inspections. He also prepares sketches, marks up drawings, writes specifications, and liaises with other engineering disciplines on projects. This ensures for integrated solutions, which meet their objectives.
Venus joined ProDesigners Architects in December 2015, as a professional Architect experienced in the coordination and production of construction drawings. Venus has extensive and various on-hand experience in conceptualizing and planning various architecture styles, interior design, space and urban planning. He has been involved in design teams for residential buildings, a medical school, hospital, and a mixed-used development. He has worked in Singapore, Philippines and the Middle East.
Bobby has come from North Eastern China, and has designed many large and complex residential projects in his region. Heavily involved with his local university as a studio assistant, Bobby has specialised in the fields of urban planning and residential design. Bobby brings with him strong rendering skill set and attention to detail. He is currently working on a variety of commercial projects around Auckland.
Evonne has over fourteen years’ experience in the commercial, residential and education sectors. Fully involved in all stages of a project, she has a keen interest in taking a project from the initial design and feasibility stages through to documentation and construction using 2D and 3D CAD software. Evonne is currently working on a range of commercial projects in the Pacific Region and is also involved in a number of residential and educational projects within the Auckland and northern Auckland regions.
During and between her studies Deborah worked primarily in Edinburgh on a variety of projects. These involved residential, hotel, commercial, and education-sector buildings. She particularly worked on two high schools – one alteration and one new-build – from late design stage to construction. Since arriving in New Zealand, she volunteered at various community projects in Christchurch, and then worked on residential projects in an Architect’s practice in Wellington. She joined ProDesigners Architects in July 2014 and has been working on local kindergarten projects and overseas work, among others.
Elaine joined ProDesigners in December 2015 after 20 years’ experience as an Architectural Technician, Senior Architect and project team leader. She enjoys free-hand detailing, and colour-board design and presentation. She has worked on several supermarket, shopping centre and hospital projects. She has taken conceptual ideas from clients, developed designs, produced construction documentation, and done site observation. She is highly involved in our larger commercial and apartment developments.
Desire has more than 10 years’ work experience in mixed-use development, urban design, residential, institutional and transit projects. She is fully involved in the project from design development stage to construction drawings using 2D/3D CAD software.
Prior to joining ProDesigners Architects, Desire worked in Ong&Ong Pte Ltd (Singapore) as a Senior Technical Executive from 2014 to 2016 on various residential projects. She has travelled to work with the O&O KL Team on the design, tender, coordination, and construction drawings for the proposed KVMRT Transit Line 2 project. She also worked with DP Architects Pte Ltd (Singapore) as a Senior Architectural Executive from 2008 to 2013. Her portfolio consisted mainly of Institutional projects such as CREATE (Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise) located in NUS University Town, Singapore, and SIT (Singapore Institute of Technology) and Sports Arena.
Before joining ProDesigners, Dzung worked in Singapore and Dubai. His portfolio includes projects in Singapore, Dubai, the USA, Vietnam, Bali Indonesia, and China. Dzung brings to the team over 10 years of experience from a variety of sectors, at all work stages. He is highly proficient in Revit and other BIM applications. With many years' in-depth experience with Revit software, Dzung is our main technician for maximising the time-efficiency of our existing and new Revit projects.
Kayhan is responsible for the overall administrative management and quality assurance of each of the offices. With more than 35 years’ experience, he has collaborated with some of the largest construction companies in New Zealand and the Pacific, and has been involved in commercial and residential projects, for both new and existing buildings, including the preservation of historic structures. Kayhan is involved in all projects at a strategic level having a design methodology that addresses the unique context of each project and the specific needs of the client. Understanding client requirements together with office team and project dynamics are the keystones for Kayhan in delivering project excellence.
Akshay completed his Masters in Architecture with Honours in 2014. His thesis explored the previously untapped possibility of using bamboo as a primary material in architecture and construction. Having come from a family business background in building and construction, he developed an interest in this creative field at a young age. He loves design and animating, travelling and photography. Akshay has been assisting Prodesigners from 2007 and has been enthusiastically involved through a variety of our projects. His skills include design, animations and walk-throughs, and presentations. Being an avid photographer, he has also had a large input into the architectural photography of our completed projects.
Auf is a senior architect with over 35 years’ experience in a diverse range of project sectors. He has a strong background in institutional and governmental projects and has many year’s experience as practice manager overseeing various large scale projects throughout the Middle East, the Pacific Islands and New Zealand. Auf has a wealth of experience in projects of a particularly complex nature, and as Senior Architect, is responsible for co-coordinating project teams, consultants, client representatives and building contractors, with a strong focus on quality assurance across the board. Auf was closely involved with the design and development of several multi-million dollar office and residential units in Auckland. He was also involved in developing the concept design for the commercial centre in Port Denarau, Fiji. Currently he is working on a variety of large scale commercial projects in the Pacific Region with Fletcher Construction South Pacific. These projects include cinemas, gymnasiums, malls, libraries and hotel resorts.
Arturo is a registered Architect and has worked on various projects, ranging from residential to retail, education, health and commercial within NZ and overseas in the Pacific. Responsibilities undertaken varies for each projects either from preparing presentation during concept design right up to detailed documentation drawings for consent and procurement stage. Has a strong documentation skill and technical knowledge for detailing.
Prior to this, Arturo worked for three years as a draughtsman for the Ministry of Works in Samoa. During that time Arturo worked on various residential and commercial projects including the development and refurbishment of schools around Samoa funded by the Education Department of Samoa and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
